COVID-19 Update

Hope all is well amidst this crazy time! This is a challenging time for all of us as our nation and the world continue to grapple with the current events. We commend our healthcare workers, first responders, and all those who are serving to keep us safe during this difficult time. RES remains committed to be here for you when you need us the most.

RES is committed to your safety and security during this historic time.

RES is committed to the safety and security of the clients and patients we serve. RES is considered an essential business under the shelter-in-place orders, and we stand ready to continue to provide necessary medical treatment to our clients and patients at their facilities. Although shows/races/rodeos/events are postponed, RES is still scheduling appointments to help to keep your horse in good health. We are continuing to make farm calls to help you and your horse.

What it means for you, your horse, and your show schedule.

We recommend that although official events have been cancelled/postponed, it is still important to keep your horse in top shape and conditioning. RES is available by phone, email, or farm call. Farm calls are important at respecting “social distancing,” while also keeping your equine athlete cared for. Spring vaccinations and annual Coggins renewals remain important regardless of travel restrictions, as insects are still doing their job and can transmit harmful diseases to your horse(s).

RES is respecting the AVMA/AAEP guidelines to try and limit person-to-person contact to keep you safe. RES requests limiting the number of clients present during an examination to limit close interactions during the appointment.

Thank you for helping us control COVID-19 as well as to be able to remain open while ensuring the health of our clients, horses, and veterinarians.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to Dr. Mike if you have any questions or concerns regarding your horse’s health and conditioning.

Stay safe!
